Everyone walking through the door is given a warm and friendly welcome by licensee Elaine and Staffie Neville. Recently redecorated, The Alma Inn is a clean and comfortable, traditional pub that serves great grub. The dish of the day is always home made and includes classics such as mixed grill and shepherd's pie, all at a very reasonable rate.
Tasty Sunday roasts are also available while Elaine makes cakes to order for special occasions. Sky Sports is shown on two screens in the bar with one outside on the heated decked area. Saturday evenings buzz with live music or karaoke and frequent quizzes and fancy-dress nights are held for charity. And for those who want that bit extra with their Spitfire, three ghosts are reported to haunt the cellars.
